A Smart Investment in Your Dog’s Health
Neuter surgery for male dogs removes the testicles, preventing reproduction and reducing hormone-driven behaviors. Neutering plays a major role in your dog’s long-term well-being. Beyond preventing unwanted litters, these procedures can reduce the risk of certain medical conditions and help improve behavior over time.

Cost Expectations
Our dog neuter pricing is by weight, as larger dogs require additional medication and anesthesia. All pricing includes physical examination, anesthesia, surgery, and pain medications during surgery.
All dogs are required to have an E-collar (cone) or surgery recovery suit after surgery to prevent licking and chewing of the incision. E-collars are an additional $20 (Surgery recovery suits $30) and are mandatory unless you bring a properly fitting e-collar or surgery recovery suit with you at the time of pickup. All dogs are also required to have Take Home Pain Meds ($20). Additionally, sedatives ($15) for energetic and/or large male dogs may be recommended.
Additional charges may apply for the following:
Pre-surgery Preparation – Your dog should not have any food after 10pm the night before surgery but water should be available. Dogs 4 months or younger can have a small snack (1/4 of their normal meal) the morning of surgery, but all other dogs should not eat until the evening of the surgery.
The drop-off time at the clinic the day of surgery is between 6:15am and 7:30am.
Post-surgery Recovery – You will be contacted by us when your pet is ready to be released post-surgery. We typically close at 4:00pm so pick up will be prior to that.
When you take your pet home from surgery, they may be groggy for 12 to 24 hours due to the surgical anesthesia. To help your pet recover as quickly and painlessly as possible at home, we recommend the following:
